Destination Wedding Photographer
A little over a year ago I was sitting in a brewery in Michigan with a friend, Tessa, chatting with her about her #50states50breweries project. We were counting how many states she had visited so far, and then I thought of how many states I had shot a wedding in. Tessa brilliantly assigned me with a hashtag of my own #50states50weddings ☼ I loved it! It fits perfectly with my lifestyle filled with travel. I was ready to build this project into something amazing. 50 States. 50 Weddings.
Little did I know, my project would be put on hold almost immediately. On our way home from Michigan, Tessa and I were in a pretty serious car accident on the highway. I sustained a head injury which derailed me for a while. My bruises and aches went away, but my head still wasn’t ready. I had to put off my new idea to heal. But I wouldn’t let myself forget the project. 50 States. 50 Weddings.
So here I am. After almost a year, I’m officially announcing the 50states50weddings project. The goal is simple: shoot a wedding in every state in the U.S. I’m about 1/5 of the way through, so I’m reaching out to you to help me get to the other 40!
So far, here are the states I’ve completed:
- New Mexico
- Texas (booked for 2017)
Here are ten states I’d love to shoot in soon!
I cannot wait to see where this project of mine takes me!!
Please share this with your friends!
