“I always want to remember how we have much we helped each other grow throughout our first 5 years together. We managed to graduate college on the same day, find the perfect careers for each of us, and even bought our first house together. We both still know how to act like kids, but it’s been so much fun to learn how to adult together. I love the ebb and flow we provide for each other, the good and the bad. Becoming a family is so exciting for us, and we are both excited to see what the next chapter holds. I love that we share the excitement for our future family together and I always want to remember how much this first chapter taught us.” -Kristen
“My first impression was that she was beautiful and easy to talk with. I was drawn to her once we started to hang out and I learned that she was interested in many of the same things I enjoyed, and vice versa. The beginning was what led me to believe earlier on she would be the one. From the day that we met, we were inseparable. It was like I instantly found a new best friend. She was either at my house, or I was over at her house. Since the first day we have met, we have only slept separately a handful of times. With a majority of those being in the first month or two.” -Nathan
“My first impression was definitely “whoa, where the heck has this guy been my whole life.” and that impression has definitely stuck. The universe drew me to him! He hates when I say “universe” stuff, but he is my soul mate and always will be. Anything could have happened that night we met, but he was always meant to be mine.
THE BEGINNING WAS HOT. I remember feeling more passion in that first year with him than I had felt in all my 21 years before that combined. He lit my fire and made me feel like the most loved person in the world.” -Kristen

“My favorite memory with Nathan is our first Dave Matthews concert together. Even though it was over two years after we had first met, the concert was so rejuvenating for our love. I hadn’t listened to much Dave at that point for some reason, but Nathan was a superfan. When he sang the songs to me that night and danced with me under the stars, I had never felt so perfectly placed. Let’s just say, I am a big DMB fan now.” -Kristen
“One of my favorite and most memorable memories with Kristen was early on when Kristen, her little sister, and myself took a day trip from Evansville to the Garden of Gods in southern Illinois. That was the first time I met her little sister and parents.” – Nathan
